Hello! I'm Sil, a fashion and textile designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I love creating prints and patterns from my drawings and doodles, and playing with colors. I’ve always been fascinated by folk art and handmade crafts, whether it’s ceramics, textiles, woodwork, jewelry, basketry, embroidery, or other traditional creations. Whenever I travel, visiting local folk art fairs is one of my favorite experiences, and I realize that this love for artisanal traditions deeply inspires my work as a pattern designer.

My creative path has always been rooted in a passion for craftsmanship and design. I co-founded Obra hecho a mano, a home decor and accessories brand that promoted amazing Argentinian artisanal products made with natural materials such as chaguar and llama wool.

 

Later, I created Zöld, a brand of geometric terrariums and glass home decor objects.

 

Eventually, I ran CASA OZ, my own home decor shop in Buenos Aires’ Palermo neighborhood for six years. It showcased not only my products but also the work of local designers, including ceramics, accessories, jewelry, wall art, and home decor, alongside books and plants.

I’ve always been captivated by the beauty humans create through their hands, as well as the astounding beauty present in nature. Natural materials, folk art, craftsmanship, botanicals, and visual arts are constant sources of inspiration for me.

Now in my forties, I find myself embarking on a new adventure. I’ve chosen a slower lifestyle at home with my son, and in the process, I’ve reconnected with my creative side—the one that loves drawing, patterns, and colors.
